What We Do
A major way we stock our shelves at the food bank is through donations from local grocery stores and food businesses.
This very vital volunteer role goes out and picks up these donations and brings them back to the food bank. It's a good role to see how the food system functions, how grocery stores help serve our mission as community partners, and gain a bigger sense of how the food bank works!
Most of these roles require a car, but some may be doable with a bike and a good hitch set up.
This role requires time commitments to allow for the extra training to navigate the stores and build relationships with the store managers.
Ability to lift at least 30 pounds is required.
