Volunteer: Grocery Rescue Ride Along Wednesday 8:00 am-11:00 am

Do you have an interest in helping to pick up donations from area grocery stores? This is the opportunity for you! 

Ride along with a staff member in our van to pick up donations set aside by grocery stores and return back to the food bank to unload. 

This role is a super important in the chain and flow of food supply, and also an interesting look inside how the food bank works to stock our shelves and the ways the area business partner with us to keep our foodbank full.

If you have time there is also a second shift following from 11:00 am- 2:00 pm, that is helpful to have the same person in that role for the day if you have the availability!

This fun and active role meets at the food bank at the start of the shift with Eric, our grocery rescue manager. 

Please wear clothing that is appropriate for the weather and allows you to be active and lift!

Ability to lift at least 40 pounds is essential in this position.
