Rooftop Roots is in the process of replacing our milk crate raised beds with a more sustainable design. We are giving away our crates to community members next week and will need help letting folks up to the roof via elevator, lifting a moving full or empty milk crates, and assisting in loading crates into vehicles if requested.
Each crate filled with soil weighs about 10 pounds, so this can be strenuous work. We ask that volunteers are fully vaccinated and boosted, and to wear a mask and maintain the recommended social distance
