Grocery Rescue (in your own vehicle) - University District Farmer's Market!

Description

Grocery Rescue in your own vehicle!

Please complete training and qualifications for this role*.

This is an awesome way to see the food systems and how it influences food security and stocks the food bank shelves.

This role is so important to keeping food stocked in the food bank!

Must be able to lift 20-30 pounds, navigate stores and check in with vendors and managers, and be kind and respectful with our partners.

The address for the University District Farmer's Market is:

5031 University Way NE, Seattle, WA 98105

*For more information on training and vendor information please contact Eric at: eric@udistrictfoodbank.org

Vehicle Info: Varies from season. In the summer months the pickup can be larger, 6-8 banana boxes. In the colder months maybe only 1 or 2 banana boxes. A passenger size vehicle or larger should be just fine. Its also super close so second trips aren't too big of a pain!
