Who We Are
Volunteer delivery drivers for our home delivery routes! These volunteers drive around the six zip codes in our service area, making sure that our disabled and immunocompromised clients are fed and connected to their community and its resources.
What We Do
University District Food Bank's home delivery program serves over 300 households weekly in Northeast Seattle on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Our drivers not only provide weekly groceries to our most vulnerable clients, the also provide necessarily human connection to those who are homebound. As a result, many of our customers have formed close bonds with their weekly drivers.
During Covid, and it's variant resurges, home deliveries have become even more essential to immunocompromised individuals and seniors.
Come be a part of this special program and keep our neighborhood well fed!
