This route goes to one building in Capitol Hill (98102). Please arrive at the food bank at 11:45 am, and pull into the garage. If the garage is currently occupied, you can park on the street and come inside- there will be a silver rolling rack full of your route's groceries, along with a paper taped to the front of the rack with all of the delivery details. Wheel the rack full of groceries out to your car to load- we can find someone to help you with that if needed.
With 11 households (22 bags), it should take about 1.5-2 hours to complete. We have dash flyers that explain that you are with the food bank, please ask to grab one if you don't have one! Leaving the bags at the apt. door, knocking loudly, and saying "food delivery!" is the preferred way to deliver. If a customer asks for help with bags, only do so to your comfort level.
This role is a great way to get out in the community and learn more about your neighbors and the different buildings that you may never get to see.
