This very important role is the first person customers of the Food Bank first interact with! If you like making people feel welcome this is the job for you! 

Manage the line, hand out new customer forms, and allow folks to step up when the check in volunteer is ready . We also hand out sandwiches and water in line if requested. Thank shoppers as they exit. 

Strong customer service skills are necessary for the role as well as ability to work with a diverse amounts of people.

Are you a people person and would like to work work in a customer facing role? This is a great fit. 

Some de-escalation experience and understanding of trauma would be helpful in this role. This role is standing.
