Grocery Rescue Ride Along Saturday 8:30 am-1:30 pm

Do you have an interest in helping pick up donations from area grocery stores? This is the opportunity for you! Interested in an active position?

Ride along with a staff member in our van to pick up donations set aside by grocery stores and return back to the food bank to unload. 

This role is a super important in the chain and flow of food supply, and also an interesting look inside how the food bank works to stock our shelves and the ways the area business partner with us to keep our foodbank full.

This fun and active role meets at the food bank at the start of the shift with Ron, our grocery rescue staff at the food bank at 5017 Roosevelt Way NE. 

Please wear clothing that is appropriate for the weather and allows you to be active and lift!

Ability to lift at least 40 pounds is essential in this position. Some lifting stooping, twisting and pulling is necessary.
