This role helps to check-in customers of the food bank to begin their shop with us!
This position helps to prepare the store before the food bank opens at 11am, as a group, then takes a seated position at the desk.
This position is seated, and works with a computer and with the public.
You will be recording each shopper in our computer system and handing out shopping cards based on household size as well as answering any questions about shopping if have if they are new to the food bank!
NOTE: If you are the second person to sign up, please plan to assist the main check in volunteer by orienting new customers, handing out vouchers, retrieving shopping carts, etc.
